Kitchen sink backup with significant water pressure?

T S asked:
When my dishwasher sends water to kitchen sink to drain there is a back up and water leaks out. Also, if there is significant water flow from the faucet the drain leaks. Under normal flow, the water moves through the pipes just fine. I’m stumped, anyone with any thoughts?
