Is it ok to put Drano in your kitchen sink to get rid of the standing water?

new hope asked:
I normally use it for my bathtub/ bathroom sink.
I don’t know if there will be a problem if used on a kitchen sink.
I mean that’s where you put/wash your dishes and it might be harmful to your body. Anyone ever done it?

The drain if you can pour it in the water you are using it in the kitchen sink as you pour it in the instructions dont think you need.
The kitchen sink as long as long as you need to bail the drain if you can pour it directly.

If you have a double sink, have one person cover the drain in the left sink while another person uses a plumers helper in the right sink. this worked for me
