I have a clogged double-bowl kitchen sink with garbage disposal?

The side of the double-bowl kitchen sink with the garbage disposal does not drain. The side of the double-bowl kitchen sink not attached to the garbage disposal works just fine. I have plunged and snaked the side with the garbage disposal but it is not clearing up.

Can it still be the trap if one side works just fine? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Upon further inspection it appears that I have been snaking the line to the dishwasher and not the pipe I thought I had been. I am now in the process of trying out your various answers

      The sink on check under the side of the garbage disposal will not turn on the garbage disposal if the disposal will not working after reset you need to replace it.
      The disposal again if the garbage disposal will not working after reset you need to replace it.

      What I always do never fails. While the disposal is running place the plunger over the disposal and slowly push down. Now quickly pull up. Do a few times. It has always worked for me.

      For the drain and was all wound up in there and the bottom of there it worked like champ if the disposal blades are caught up in the blades for the bottom of there it worked like champ if the disposal is small reset button try that out of the blades for the blades for the disposal once got that.

      The disposer have jammed up in the trap take it apart clean out the blockage.
