How often should you clean the kitchen sink?

Dana the Great (яє∂ нσт) asked:
I heard on the Jon Tesh radioshow that the kitchen sink is often a great cesspool for bacteria than the toilet. Totally shocked, I immediately scrubbed the sink down with water and bleach. I do this every other day.

Am I doing this right?
I always wash it out each night, but I do serious scrubbing every other night.

Your kitchen sink needs to be cleaned every day.
Hydrogen peroxide is better for you, your clothes and your plumbing and not nearly as caustic as bleach.
It is just as efficient too.
