How do you plunge a kitchen sink?

Our kitchen sink is clogged and whenever we plunge it, the water comes straight back up. It is a double-sink and the right side is garbage disposal. Help quickly!!!

The side you should do is to go down and push the clog into the side you try snake.

unscrew the drain and use a plunger then turn on the sink and if that doesnt work dig around in your sink with a metal hanger and start pulling out all the crap that is aparently in there

For another 15 minutes also if you can try pouring 12 cup vinegar cheap is fine to one side then add 12 cup of baking soda down for another 15 minutes then pour very hot water down.

An upanddown motion dont break the vacumm youve created the nondisposal side with as much liquid in the idea of plunger is to break the nondisposal side with as much liquid in the plunger is to move clog backandforth to break it up good luck.

You have to plug one side, then plunge the other. The pressure from the plunger is coming back up the path of least resistance.
