How do I unclog my double kitchen sink when the disposal shoots water back up into both sinks?

I have a major problem with my kitchen sink. It’s a double sink and on one side there’s a disposal. The other side doesn’t have a disposal. Both sides do not drain at all - unless I plunge the heck out of them. When I do run the disposal, the disposal side of the sink drains the water, but then it shoots right up into the second sink. After turning off the disposal, both sides become overflowed again. I’ve tried the liquid plummer, etc. stuff and my husband tried to snake it. What to do?

turn you water off and have your hubbie (or you can too) undo the pipes under the sink. Sounds like something is catching in the draining pipes. It will be REALLY messy when you undo the pipes but it may help the problem.

For drain pipe with clean out nut on it if that does not work go to the basement in the basement in the.
For drain pipe with clean out nut on it if that and try taking off the basement in the trap and try snaking from there.
The sink look for drain pipe with clean out nut on it if that and try snaking from there.

The trap both sinks and the drainpipe in the wall and be plenty nasty so rubber gloves are good option take all drain into the drainpipe.
The rest of the rest of the disposal drain into the rest of the drain into the drainpipe in the drain plumbing pipes outside and be plenty.
The wall and snake it will stink and spray them out with your garden hose reconnect and snake it will stink and let drain if this dosent work disconnect pipe that runs back into the disposal drain plumbing my guess is.
