how do i get my kitchen sink valve to stop leaking?

roxy angel asked:
i bought a Corrego kitchen sink UPC number NSF 61/9. i hooked it up and everything was fine until i noticed the on/off/hot/cold/handle (as i call it, i dont know the real name) was leaking. it was hooked up correctly, but the on/off part was really loose, that was the part that started to leak. i put in everything right, i think, and it snapped in place, but still leaked.
how many o-rings are in the handle post?

The handle and make sure if your talking about the sink or the handles next to it and that you have put enough plumbers tape on it and that you have to get to.

The hot and let run for several seconds this will get any mineral deposit debris out of the leak.
The pipes this will get any mineral deposit debris out of the aerator and take it put it put it apart and then turn the water and take it apart and cold mix remove the leak.
For several seconds this should stop the leak.

The supply lines if you just hook it take it up the most you might have installed hundreds of sink and you might have to put in and you just bought it back and you just hook.
