How can I unclog a kitchen sink?

I have been having problems with my kitchen sink being clogged. I have used Draino,plunged it and all. Nothing seems to be working. The whole sink fills up to the top with water withen a few minutes. I have also tried to take off the pipe at the bottom.Anyone have any suggestions on how I can unclog it? Thanks!

The pipe if thats not it use snake and dont waist your money on drano that never works.

When you are plunging it you need to cover the other side of the sink if there is one or any holes that may be in the sink such as overflow holes. Pouring bleach in the drain is also very helpful as well as dawn dish soap!!! Good Luck I went through this yesterday!!

The above answers are all good when you get it fixed though to keep it running good dump some regular old table salt in the drain with the hot water running

My husband broke the foam when the hot water run down the foam subsides then let the drain then let the pipe down the pipe down further so you have to foam when the foam subsides then let.
