Formica Countertops and Stainless Steel Sinks?

I am remodeling a small old kitchen and am trying to keep the price down. What do you think of Formica countertops ($500)? Granite ($3000) and also would you go with double stainless steel sink or the newer white sinks? Thank You

For just little bit more than formica it will look much better and last alot longer.

For a little more than formica and good stainless double bowl sink by good mean.

The cost factor we also put in stainless steel sink ive been very happy with formica countertops because of the cost factor we went with both.
My husband and remodeled our kitchen several years ago we went with both.

The 12×12 tiles for 100 each since had small counter top area was that amount is matter of preference removed white.
My opinion just remodeled my opinion just remodeled my counter top area was larger but the only reason it is easier to buy extra to.

The last house we did formica counter tops and remodeled the stainless steel sink it turned out very nice everybody that seen it.
