What is your opinion of the fire clay sinks being sold now in place of porcelain? If you have one, how is it?

Wednesday, May 25th, 2011
Nancy P asked:

We are remodeling and had planned on putting in a stainless steel sink until I decided I didn’t like the look of so much stainless. At the plumbing supply store, we learned about fireclay sinks, which are supposed to be much more durable than porcelain. I’m interested in feedback from anyone who has a stainless or fireclay sink.

Why is the hot water not working in the bath tub? It works in the sinks?

Monday, May 16th, 2011
PlasticTrees asked:

Over 3 days the hot water gradually disappeared from the tub. One day it was slow, then slower.. now it’s not working. The hot water in the other 2 sinks work, but not at full pressure like they were.

What went wrong and what needs to be fixed? My scumlord takes forever to fix things and I’m wondering if I could do it myself.

Monday, May 16th, 2011
Matthew asked:

For science class, I have to build a model submarine that floats, sinks, floats, sinks, and floats. Does anybody know how to do this SCIENTIFICALLY and not using a pill. I’m asking for a step-by-step procedure, and I need it by Thursday. Thanks!
