Do I have the right to remove all of the sinks from my bakery?

Monday, February 21st, 2011
ssxingcn asked:

I bought a bakery two years ago. Since the business doesn’t do very well and the lease will be ended next month, I decided to close down the bakery. On October 1, 2008, I wrote a letter to the landlord and told her that I will not renew the lease. Today, the landlord called me and said that I can’t remove all of the sinks from the bakery since her next tenant wants to keep those sinks and will not sign the lease without those sinks. Does the landlord have the right to ask me to do so? According to my knowledge, those sinks (the first owner of this bakery purchased those sinks and remodel the whole bakery) are a part of my bakery’s property and I am the only owner of this property. Therefore, I am the only one who has the right to remove all of the sinks from the bakery. Please correct me if I am wrong. Also, I would like to know what kind of trouble the landlord can give to me if I refuse her request. Thank you in advance for your timely help!

Can you take water lines from a single sink and make them function for two sinks?

Sunday, February 6th, 2011
Lisa asked:

I have a vanity in my bathroom with 1 sink. I would like to make it a vanity with 2 separate sinks. I have a single set of water lines with the current sink but can I split/share these lines to make 2 functioning sinks? The other pipes are not an issue. Is this a simple piece I can buy (like an adaptor) or would it be a custom job? thanks!
