Greg J asked: My kitchen sink garbage disposal reeks pretty bad, and I can’t seem to find a good way to keep it clean for more than a week. It’s almost like food waste just sits in there and doesn’t go down the drain. Anyone know a good way to really, REALLY, clean out that area, since it’s hard to get to?

reflections85 asked: I’ve heard you can pour various items or throw various items down a kitchen sink and make it smell more pleasing.
Anyone got a real solution? My kitchen sink smells real bad.

gaminegirlie asked: I want to replace my kitchen sink, but I am in a townhome complex where five units are all attached to the same water line. I have no way to control my own water without taking down four other units. Would it work to turn off the main water line until I get the water out of the sink pipes and then close the valves that distribute to the sink and then turn the main line back on and be able to take a shower without having an issue for a couple of weeks or a month?

Miss Brooke asked: Not sure why, but my sink smells bad. I don’t have a garbage disposer, just a regular kitchen sink. I am looking for a deodorizer to pour down it to eliminate odor. Thanks so much!

Charlie S. asked: We have very low water pressure in our kitchen sink, which happened right after we put in a new water heater. I was told that there might be calcium deposits on the filter, and I tried to get it off, but I couldn’t get it. Is there a trick? Note: there is no other problems with any of the other faucets/toilets in the rest of the house. Thanks
Edward

Common Sense asked: Preventing cooking grease from polluting our water supply — not to mention clogging our kitchen sink — is such a simple thing to do. But most people don’t bother. It seems they would rather spend money on nasty chemicals like Liquid Drano or call a plumber. Millions of American households are needlessly polluting our waters.

barnwelljazz asked: The bugs are little black bugs with a pair of white wings. Our kitchen has a leak so it is wet underneath our sink. They appear during the afternoon
