asked: I am adding a smoothie bar in my gym and have to route the plumbing to the back of the 100 year old brick building, some of which is up hill. My question is that if I utilize that drain line for other sinks down the line, will code allow me to check valve them, or will the code make the drainage from the sump pump go straight out of the building?

Just K asked: I have come to really like the look of vessel sinks and have read the pros and cons of them. But what I have not seen is how they will stand up to use by children. Will they hold up if a child happens to lean on it? What types would be more child-friendly? We probably will not install glass due to chipping.
I’d like to hear from people who have personal experience with vessel sinks and children, if possible.
Thank you very much for any input.

nekohakase asked: Many huge carriers like the Yamato, or other notable ships that have sunk over the years boast “watertight” rooms. What happens to those rooms when the ship sinks? Do they implode because of pressure, or are they still there, air and watertight, like a capsule at the bottom of the ocean?
