Can a pedestal sink be installed next to a heater vent?

Posted by admin
Amy S asked:

My parents want to replace their wall mounted bathroom sink with a pedestal sink. The heater comes up through the corner of the floor and the wall, therefore the sink stand would be about 1′ away from the heater vent. Is there a minimum distance the pedestal needs to be away from the vent?
